Sublime @ Home Nightclub was an easy choice to play the host of BAM: Nights Launch Party. It is currently the longest running club night in the world! Boasting an impressive 13 years of club and party memories, Sublime kicks on playing home to the freshest house, electro and trance spread across its three incredible arenas.

With the latest renovations and refurbishments, Home Nightclub has reached the absolute pinnacle of the entertainment industry.

With decadent harbour views from the rooftop outdoor chillout area, glass terrace bar dancefloor, an incredible sound and lighting installation throughout the main room, and the fantastic and imaginative décor throughout the venue and ‘the box’, its no wonder Sublime @ Home has been voted the #1 Club Night in Australia five years running as well as Home Nightclub earning the global title of Super Club!

ARTISTS AND PERFORMERS

ARCHIE
BAM Radio’s October Featured Artist

With over 12 years experience Archie has risen to being one of Australia’s top DJs. Just this year he was ranked 4th in NSW and number 11th nation wide. Archie currently holds several residencies around Sydney, including Home Nightclub as well as constantly touring the country playing at the biggest clubs and events. With seven compilation releases under his belt and signed to premier dance label Central Station Records, he has compiled an extensive array of his own productions which have been show cased as feature tracks on his mix CD series.

Archie also participated in renowned Australian electronic act Endorphin for several years. Contributing a live element to the group as a scratch DJ, he toured constantly through out the country playing at such gigs and Festivals as Homebake, Gatecrasher, Moonlight Sounds, Delirium Festival, the Adelaide Fringe plus most major venues along the way. Alongside this, Archie toured South America with the band to play several shows with knock out reviews. The purpose of this tour was to promote the Endorphin album “AM/PM”, which was released through Sony and included an exclusive remix by Archie, as well as several tracks that he featured on.

His trademark sound and signature scratches have continually seen him playing alongside some of the biggest names in the business including Moby, Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, De La Soul, Plump DJ’s, Freestylers, Darude, Tiesto, Judge Jules, Tony De Vit, Stereo 8, Timo Mass, CJ Bolland, and many many more!

JOHN YOUNG

A natural born performer, John Young has been at the centre of the underground and anthem scene since the late 90’s. Leading crowds with his energetic performances, whether its oldskool italo house, bangin electro or hands up anthems, his uplifting sets have left hands in the air and cheers in the hearts of punters all over the city!

Heavily influenced by all facets of dance music, including House, Hip Hop, Breaks, Bass and Bands, artists such as Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk, Basement Jax and Chemical Brothers have shaped his production to call on all aspects of dance to create a fusion of driving bass, banging percussion, energising synths and uplifiting vocals.

MARC TAYLOR

An absolute veteran within the industry, Marc Taylor has been partying and leading crowds for the past 21 years! Having held residencies at many venues over the years including Fox Studios, Soho, Home Nightclub, Mars Lounge, Hillside, as well as a reunion parties and events such as Decadence NYE 2009 and Future Music Festival 2009.

Marc has hosted shows on Radio Dex, The Breakfast Show on 96.9FM DJ mixed live high powered radio, 1996 through till 2001 and many more. His countless years of performing promises to deliver a DJ set like no other! A fusion of both old classics and new driving tunes makes this one set not to be missed.

MIKE RUKUS

Having supported the likes of Bass Kleph, DJ Falcon (Daft Crew), Hook N Sling, Sam La More (MOS), Stupid Fresh, Switch, and a host of others, Mike’s diversity and passion to always bring something new to the table constantly pushes the boundaries of dance music. Performing regularly everywhere from Kink to World Bar to ‘French Kiss’ & ‘The Likes of You’, Mike leads the crowds with his amazing versatility and abilities to shape the music into his own.

KRISS KROSS

Kriss Kross’s artistic and creative character rapidly aligned with his passion for all things electronic and dance. With heavy influences from well known artists such as Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim and The Prodigy, his pursuit to give the public a moving melody and bass controlled heartbeat was underway. With an appreciation for a wide variety of house and all things full of bleeps, squeeks and dirty driving basslines, his on-stage persona will always find the tunes that the crowd wants to hear.

To top it all off, Sublime themselves are showcasing a legendary lineup of international superstars of their own across the other dancefloors!

JON O’BIR (UNITED KINGDOM)

Jon O’Bir is a name that’s been splashed across the industry since he catapulted to the front of the line in 2002 after winning a prestigious competition run by Passion and M8 magazine. In the seven years since this Jon has gone from strength to strength in gaining respect, fans and accolades.

He successfully held a residency with the leading dance brand Godskitchen for many years which saw him warming up and going head to head with some of the biggest stars including Paul Van Dyk, Sasha and Tiesto, something very few people can add to their portfolio.

DJ ANGE (IBIZA)

Direct from Ibiza, her unsurpassable technical skills along with spot on track selection and her ability to read any crowd attributes to the rise of DJ Ange’s global dance reputation in Trance, Progressive , Electro & House genres.

DJ ANGE is a resident in IBIZA during the summer season. In 2009 alone this includes Judgement Sundays Sunset Boat Party, Charlys Angelz, Garlands Ibiza Boat Party, Pure Pleasure Experience, Play2 Nightclub & Orange Corner. Along with guest appearances at Random, IAMSTEREO, Bar M, Hush, Itaca, Hussle Eivissa + many more.

Supporting the internationals on the night are Melbourne’s very own, Steve Strangis and Ahmet Atasev, along with Sublime’s Queens of House, Mish and Hannah Gibbs.
